If plainproxies.com will not load, one of two very different things is happening — and they need opposite fixes. Here is how to tell which one you have, and what actually works.
Schools, universities, offices and some ISPs keep blacklists of known proxy and unblocking domains. PlainProxies got popular this month, so it got listed. The service is fine — you can verify from mobile data — but your network refuses to take you there. “Mirror” domains dodge this for a week or two until they are listed as well, and unofficial mirrors carry their own risk: whoever runs them sees everything you do, including any password you type. There is no official PlainProxies mirror.
The other direction is more common than people think: plainproxies.com loads, you use its free web-proxy page, and the target site refuses. Free web-proxy traffic exits from a handful of shared server ranges, and any site that cares about abuse has already blocked those ranges. No mirror fixes this — the problem is the exit IP, and only a different exit IP solves it. The IP check tool shows exactly how your current exit looks to a website.

The pattern is the one that killed every free unblocking trick before it: shared exits get blacklisted, private exits do not. A residential IP with ip:port:user:pass works in any browser and phone, and to both your network and the target site it looks like normal home traffic.

No official mirror is published. Sites advertising “plainproxies mirrors” are unaffiliated clones, and entering your account credentials into one hands them to a stranger.
For basic pages, sometimes. But popular targets block the shared exit IPs it uses, video rarely holds, and sessions do not persist. It is a convenience tool, not an unblocking solution.
An exit IP that is not on any blacklist: a residential proxy with your own credentials. Your network sees an ordinary HTTPS connection, and the target site sees a normal home connection.
The mirror operator sees everything you browse and can rewrite any page. On a school or work network you are also likely logged locally. Assume zero privacy in both directions.
